Sometimes, it is painful to see these things... coins that would be valuable had someone not decided to kill them...
Here's mine.

Just a great looking toned coin... that someone decided to make a necklace of.

I don't have a pic, but I used to own a beautiful XF with perriferal toning 1815 half......
Would have been a great coin.

I love the old square nail holes... they give the coin character (and makes you wonder why Jeb was pounding holes in Pa's coins with Pa's nails back on some fam in the mid 1800's... )

While no picture, I do have a vague memory of picking out one of the shiniest Franklin halves out of my box as a kid and using it as target practice for my British Enfield .303.

I'll have to do 3 hail mary's and 1 saintguru to atone for my transgression.
