Sad Sad Sad day for me

I have to sell my 1972 Topps set. I have spent 2 1/2 years putting it together. I have come up on some financial needs that are more of a priority than this set. I really wanted to sell the set and buy more Packer cards but I can't do that right now. So, if you want a set that is 96% PSA 8 or better go to this link and bid away.

If for some reason I don't get the reserve I will sell it out separatley to board memebers. I will keep you all informed if the reserve is not met for those HOF rookie collectors.

I know the Rayfield Wright is a tough one and so is Ron Yary to come by in 8 or better.

I'm sorry to see this for several reasons.

This is a beautiful set. It's the only one I have any serious interest in collecting a lot of cards from, and I know a little bit about how hard it is to find some of these in high grade. I also feel, ever so slightly, that I'm a part of it because Troy was kind enough to sell me his PSA 7 Yary rookie when he upgraded.

Mostly, I just hate to see real life concerns intrude on someone's collectiing.

A set similar to this one went for a little over 2 grand a few months ago. Hope you make out at least as well with this one.

MY GOD!!!...I hope he does better then 2 grand...........or are football sets from this era really that inexpensive?
