Papi breaks the Red Sox single season Hr record held by Jimmie Fox. Congrats to him, thats one positive thing Red Sox fans can get out of this year.

    I actually tuned in to watch last night -- hadn't watched since the illness caused by going 1-5 against TB and KC. Fenway seemed relaxed about the Sox, knowing they were toast, and just there for Ortiz.

    A big thank you to Papi and the Red Sox for beating the Twins and keeping the Tigers in first -though we're barely in first! Beating Santana isn't easy. Great pitching by Beckett.

    I was never part of that crazy bet - you'll never find a post of mine here where I even acknowledged it. There is no way in the world I could display that icon, it's something you just don't do as a lifelong Sox fan.

    Having said that, I still tip my cap to the Yankees, and offer congrats to their fans, especially the loyal fans here like you and Dan.

    Funny, after I started using DOPE ( which really, truly is the best description for you ) it seems as if you fell in love with using it. I know its your way of trying to deflect and take away the sting and value of the word, but in the end, we all know who the dope is.
