1000th post giveaway. no more guesses

Giveaway is closed

We haven't had a good giveaway on these boards in a while, so I figured I'd make my 1000th post worthwhile. Now this giveaway is going to be interesting, and you'll have to really think on this one...Pay attention to the following paragraph:

I have accepted an offer from a company and will be starting a new job on October 2nd. This job is located within a half a days' drive (between one hour and 12 hours) from where I live now. I live in Inverness, Florida. Get your mapquest pages ready. Furthermore, my new job will NOT be south of where I am now, so look at your maps and draw a line under Inverness and don't guess in that region. This new city I will be working in and about has a zoo. Those are the hints you will get. Tell me what city I will be working in and about in two weeks and win ONE of these TWO signed baseballs:

image

Jose Reyes

image

Scott Kazmir

Both baseballs were signed during spring training in 2004. Official MLB Selig balls. No COAs, but they are real and are from my own personal collection.

Tiebreaker: In the event more than one person guesses the city, tell me what line of work I will be in. Closest guess gets it.

Contest ends Sunday night at 10PM

One guess per person.

Come on people--I have to make it interesting. You're gonna have to work for this one...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
