What is a 1951-S MS-67 (PCGS) Franklin worth?

Could someone give me an idea of what a 1951-S MS-67 (PCGS) is Franklin worth and how many points if would have in a registry set vs a MS66 FBL?

Thanks,
Charlie

Did you check the price guide?

The registry set for Franklins will give you the point differnce.

    I think a 67 is equal to a 66 FBL

I checked the price guide and it showed $1800, but I didn't know if it was very accurate. I looked at the registry sets and didn't find anything about points.

I checked the registry again and it shows a bonus of 2 points for a FBL. Does that mean a MS67 is equivalent to a MS65 FBL?

    It's a 2-point bump for a FBL coin, so a 67 is equivalent to a 65FBL in the Registry.

Crazy aint it? Way too much emphasis is given to the FBLs.

I'd rather have a 67 any day of the millenium!

  • I would be very interested in buying an ms67 51-s. I considered bidding on that one Coinguy referred to. I don't remember if I didn't like the coin or if I couldn't afford it at the time. I would definitely pay strong for a super nice one!
