    Perkdog - I feel your pain brother. I lost two sigline bets last season and had to have a stinkin' Dallas Cowboys picture in my posts for a week. Worst experience of my life. After seeing this my girlfriend left me, my dog ran away, my cat crapped all over the house and even my plants died. It was brutal. But after my beloved Eagles beat the stinkin' Cowboys on October 8th, I plan on getting revenge when this forum will be filled with beautiful Eagles pictures in Dallas Cowboys fan's siglines.

    Well here is the thread! As you can see the dates I sported the dreadfull Yanks Icon during last years playoffs so I believe Dan must do the same!

    OK, here we go ...... BIG DIFFERENCE Paul. Last year the Red Sox were ousted from the whole playoff scene. There was no problem sporting the NY while the Sox played golf. This year, they are both in the playoffs. I will have NO PROBLEM sporting a Sox icon for 1 month or even 2 if you try and hear what I am saying. So here it goes ...

    THERE IS NO WAY I AM SPORTING A SOX LOGO WHILE THE YANKEES ARE IN THE POST SEASON. Go ahead kill me for it. I don't care. This is what the Wild Card does. Truth be told .... we were both DUMB to agree to the "divisional" bet when ..... as it is now .... the division has NOT been the deciding factor.

    If anybody thinks I will sport a SOx logo when quite possibly the Yanks could meet the Sox in the ALCS they are crazy. I'm ready to take the heat ,, ITS NOT HAPPENING until the score between the Sox is settled in a FINAL way.

    Dan 1 month was our bet and thats all you need to wear it for, totally fine with it. Agreed there is NOOOOOOOOOOO Freakin' way I would ( or expect you too) don it while your still playing.

    I remember this well. Stitstell Shearon did IN FACT sport a New York Yankee logo for ... a week or two. I forget the duration but I SAW IT image

    Paul (Perkdogness) in the future these bets must be for when either team is DONE. Obviously we made a mistake setting the DIVISION as the winners spoils ....

    what happens if the sox and yanks both go down in the first round?? are you guys going to be hoisting indian or angel icons? just curious

    maybe if that happens a Mets icon would be appropriate...image

    Axtell is what he is, but he's never welched on a sigline bet.

    There is one sigline bet welcher on here that I'm not going to mention anymore, but I'll never again place a sigline bet with him.

    Welching on real money is another story - Which is why I encourage everyone not to bet with people on the internet - lots of scammers out there looking for fish to reel in. They don't seem to haunt Sports Talk anymore maybe because they know they'll get called out.

    No matter how this shakes out, as soon as the Yanks are done playing for the year Danny will be sporting a Red Sox Icon for 1 month. image
