Still have the dies for the 1804 dollar? If so should they mint some more?image

    They'd have to counterfeit them just like anyone else. The dies probably wouldn't be that much better than some of the other attempts but we don't want to challenge them. image

    I think to save some money they're just going to contract this job out to China. After all, they're producing most of the Trade dollars and a lot of Seated dollars too.

    If the mint made new dies Lady Liberty would probably have spaghetti hair.

    Why? All they need is some sort of laser gizmo machine. Then, since the mint is real good at bumming people out, they can make a bunch of MS61s and MS62s instaed of a bunch of 70s
