Saints worried about too much hype over the Monday night game

The Saints are concerned about there being too much attention and hype surrounding their first regular season game at the Superdome
this monday night and that it will be a distraction. I don't think there is any way to avoid it so they are just going to have to deal with
it as best they can.

Distraction? I'm sorry but after what they went through last year, what exactly is the problem?

Is it that much more of a distraction than to have to take a bus ride for a home game knowing that your home is under water?

They have no reason to be 'distracted'

The way the media is hyping it up, the way they are making the saints out to be heroes for going 2-0 and giving the city hope...the pressure of the first game in NO since the hurricane.

it's gotta be tough. I'd love to see them win...it'd be a great story.
  • I think this may be Reggie Bush's bust out game. He likes the spotlight and I would expect to see some dazzle.

Yes, because they are expected to lift the spirits of the city by winning the home opener, the pressure is going to be tremendous.

In the grand scheme of things a football game is not as important as to what happened to the city and yet the fortunes of the
team and the city are being tied together.
