Thought these would be fun to rip!

All this ripping coming-up has inspired me to "rip something"!

I pulled the trigger on this: a vintage "Topps Sealed Fun Bag" tonite with 30 assorted wax packs from the 70's!

...... (6) wax packs of: 1976-77 Topps Hockey
...... (5) wax packs of: 1978 Topps Football
...... (7) Jaws packs
...... (5) Galactica packs
...... (7) Close Encounters

@ an average of $3.17 per pack! This will be fun!

I'll share pics w u!

I pulled a PSA 9 Dorsett rc out of one of those fun bags.

I bought 7 or 8 of them about 5-6 years ago and I still have all the non-sport packs sealed.

  • I'd be really interested to hear how those turn out... especially the '78 FB. I've almost gone after a few of those bags on eBay, but I can't help but think those packs have gotten banged up pretty good over the years.

When I was a kid people used to give out "fun pack" type packs at Halloween.

Some of the packs only contained one card.

    Good luck rd.

I love those fun packs. Bought two of them about 20 years ago. Pulled about 5 Ripken rookies and one Bird/Johnson rookie out of the bunch.

Alas, I no longer have that Bird/Johnson rookie any more. It would have graded PSA 9 if I still had it today image
