What do you do when the grade in an auction title is wrong, but not anywhere else?

It was brought to my attention that I have a piece listed with the grade in the title incorrect, but it's correct in the description and the image of the slab (the title has it overgraded). The piece, at the moment, is well below the value of either grade.

I've never run into the problem before, and was wondering what you would do. I see my options as:

-End the auction and relist in a few days
-Make a big note at the end of the description
-Make a note at the end of the description and make a correction in the auction subtitle
-Other

I appreciate the advice

AND if there are no bids.

If somebody is searching for that grade exclusive they may miss you auction.
Depending on the value of your item and time of listing you may have already missed some big $$ bids.
    Relist.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • I'd end it and re-list it. Make sure to cancell all bids first if there are any.

A 69 listed as a 70 could cause you some problems if the high bidder didn't bother to read the text or look at the picts. Relist.

You can not edit the title if you have any bids.

Even though "representing" an ICG 69 as ICG 70 (which isn't really what you're doing) is probably less of an egregious offence than representing it as a PCGS 69, you should cancel bids, end it and relist it promptly, informing current bidders of the relisting. Even better would be to relist first, then inform bidders, then cancel bids an end the auction. Since some people will be watching the auction and have saved links to it in their "my eBay," add big, red text (the only acceptible use of big red text in an auction other than sarcastic mockery) in the original auction explaining what happened. I don't see how you could be faulted by any buyer, other than one you don't want in the first place, for proceeding in that manner.

    End it and relist it.
