You have to have the updates until (if ever) Leroy publishes a 5th edition. Information on getting hardcopy updates and images is at Ash Harrison's site, ashmore.com. He also hosts the update there and most of the images. But it is a good idea to order them if you'll use them a lot and it is very convenient to have them too.

More and more interesting ones are being documented by folks on here (me included) at the vamworld.com wiki site. That is limited by time of course.

Congradulations on considering a registry set. Very rewarding!

Yes, the VAM book, VAMWorld, and Ashmore for vam updates. Plus there are excellent Top 100, Hot 50, 8TF, 7/8 TF and other CD references sold by John Baumgart; all depending on what you choose to specialize in. If you like 1921-D coins, Rob Joyce has a great book and there is an active 1921-D Registry.

    I like them all image
