A PSA 10?

Would u say the centering is a little too suspect for a PSA 10?

We all know how tough it is to locate PSA 10's and PSA 9's in the 1971 Topps basesball series. But what was the PSA grader thinking when he gave this a 10? Nice edges (no chipping!) and sharp corners, nice color, good surfaces, ....so I'll just "screw the centering", ...and I'll give it a ten anyway?

This Billy Wilson card is currently bid-up up to $361 on the bay! And with one day to go, who knows where it will end?

I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it falls into 60-40 and that the card at the edge of the PSA case doesn't help its eye appeal.

Look at the shadow on the right outside edge of the holder. Do you suppose that same shadow could be showing up along the right edge of the card, thereby making the right edge look fatter than it really is? Something tells me the centering is not nearly as bad as the scan would have us believe.

Wilson was a 9-15 pitcher over 5 seasons in the early 70's with the Phils........a real show stopper.
