Most surprising 0-2 team?

AxtellAxtell Posts: 10,037 ✭✭
I'd have to say either Carolina or Miami.

Seems everyone and their sister was picking Carolina to either go to or win the super bowl, yet they've looked terrible. Same with Miami, potential playoff team that's been out of sync in both games.

id have to say the bucs....alot of people including myself and those on mike and mike in the morning had picked them to go 12-4. I also was brainwashed into thinking that chris simms was going to be the next phil simms...

  • IMO it's not suprising to see Carolina 0-2 since they've played 2 good teams. Miami on the other hand, losing to Buffalo, is laughable.

In my eyes Miami is still Miami .... they have not given any reason on the field in a long while to be considered a contender. Carolina on the otherhand, has been a well coached and disciplined team as of the last few years.

But hey, opinions are just that right ???? image

I would agree with Carolina because of the Super Bowl implications before the season.
  • panthers easily... EVERYONE picked them to at least go to superbowl.. I mean they still can but are already two games down in nfc south...

Also miami, everyone including myself thought theyd be a above average team...
  • also what about the kc chiefs...
  • Is Carolina 0-2 with a healthy Steve Smith ? I doubt it . I can't really pick Carolina considering Smith hasn't played yet

The two Florida teams are my picks

Carolina's offense is totally lost without Steve Smith. They can't get him back fast enough.

Carolina without a doubt. Steve Smith hurts but 0-2?

Panthers, no doubt. Supposedly excellent teams should beat "good" teams.

Chiefs were supposed to lose yesterday. With Green out, they only threw one pass over 15 yards. However, the defense did shut down the Donkey's until the end of the game. Gives some hope once Green returns. I think Denver should be more worried than the Chiefs right now.

Everyone had LJ rushing for 2000 yards, but I knew with that O line changing so much, and the O coordinator bolting, he was going to struggle.

Glad I picked Alexander #1 overall.

Alexander is not doing much better AX, LJ has more yards and receptions. We will see who has a better season (Stat wise)

Miami is the biggest surprise for me.

While not 0-2, the Cardinals are surprising me with crappy play. They had chance after chance to score points yesterday and couldn't. Exactly how many damn future HOFer's and Pro Bowlers do they need on their team to win some games? They have a ton of talent but can't execute, year after year.

Shaun had a terrible opening game, but was strong yesterday. I have no doubts in my mind Alexander will finish with the better year.

Given the last 20 years, why would anyone be surprised at crappy play form the Cardinals?

LT is turning out to be the best of the "Big 3" so far!!

My point exactly. LT has had a great start, but its been against 2 of the worst teams in football.

Yeah, but the last 5 years, they've really been stacking some talent. They can't suck forever, can they?
  • alexander hasn't gone over a 100 yards yet in a game has he? Also any TDS?

LT won't be playing cupcakes every week, either. Tomlinson is incredibly talented, no doubt, but I am still confident Alexander's the man.

And who has Seattle played?? Detroit, a god-awful team and Arizona who gave up almost 40 pts to SF! image
