I got a good deal on this raw piece from someone who knew that it was listed in the RedBook, but didn't know that the RedBook prices don't have much to do with the actual market prices for this variety.
I'm afraid I'm not set up to take microphotos, but the variety should be easily visible even in this non-micro pic. For those who aren't familiar with this variety, there are good pics at the CopperCoins website (those pics are not the of the coin that is being sold, of course).
I'm willing to pass on the good deal if it means that I can save the annoyance of getting it slabbed.
