Askari - wherefore art thou?

Does anyone have a 2006 update on Askari? His profile shows he hasn't visited since April 2005. I just sent an email to the addy listed in his profile, so I'll see what happens.

Since Dog97 came back on the Liteside, I was wondering if we could get Askari (Mark) to resurface here. I had the good fortune of meeting the man in person about 4 or 5 years ago, when I was in Dallas once on business. Seemed like a real nice guy. Got to see a nice India Rupee (1934?) he had just acquired, plus some of his beloved Notgeld.

I really miss his contributions around here.

I have not emailed him, but his absence in the medals buying area of ebay is also noted. We do have simular tastes and I check bidders. His expertice is missed.
