“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."
Offer it to the doofus hollywooder who was paying the big bucks for several Scakie/Washingtons a few years back. Or just sell to derek, I'm certain he'll find it worth at least three grand. Demand cash payment!
when I was about 10 years old, I tooled off the 4th leg of a 1937-D Buffalo Nickel.....I wish I could find it
another time (again around the same age), I sanded down one side of a penny until it was worn fully....i then took another penny and vise gripped it together to create an incused impression on the sanded down side.
I was way ahead of my time...
I would consider this criminal, havent I been that young.....
Suffice to say, I havent done anything like that since ( 28 years later )

A toonie is bi-metallic. First year coins sometimes lost their grip and the centers popped out.

Yes, I know a toonie is bi-metallic. What I didn't know was that the centers could be easily removed.

Only in the 1996 issue. 60 million pre-assembled pieces came from Germany to begin the production run.
A drop from even a moderate height was sometimes enough to seperate ring and plug.
