    I did tout ND as a great team this year, calling out Penn State to get crushed in which they did, but this game does not suprise me, another one of those games where you throw out records, hype and all that. The college game is so unpredictable when it comes to rivalries.

    I guess PSU was even more overrated than ND this year. Carr needed this game badly. I don't think it's a stretch to say that his job may have depended on it.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Penn State wasn't overrated. Don't be rediculous - they started the season ranked 19 and that was probably about right. I detailed here how that PSU - ND game didn't setup well for Penn State. Frankly, I haven't seen a college team yet this season that looked like any type of powerhouse.

    Even with this loss, ND will still make it to a BCS bowl game. Their schedule is pretty soft from here on out.

    I don't believe PSU will be in the Top 25 at the end of the year, sorry, and I don't think that's ridiculous, either, not sure about rediculous, though.

    Ohio St. looks mighty tough, and the OSU-UM game could be one for the ages if both teams are lucky enough to run the table until November.

    Although I hate college FB, I was very happy to see ND get blown out today. ND is like the spoiled child that always gets the attention although it has done nothing to show for it.

    When did ND last win a championship or bowl game? How many teams have done better than it historically? Why is that coach making more than the Petester at USC?

    ND = Spolied overrated crybabies.

    That's a possibility, but just as possible is a top 15 finish. The upcoming game with Ohio State will be a better indicator than was the game with Notre Dame.
