69 Nolan Ryan...grading?

Do you think this card would come back o/c? And what grade do you think it would be?

Thanks for any input!

And don't you love the pose, with the ball in his glove after his follow through?

If I was grading I think 6 and I'm not sure if o/c or mc. Hard to tell from a scan, the bottom 2 corners look soft and it has a tilt or diamond cut.

If I sent it in I'm sure I would get a 6 mc.

Good luck if you decide to send it in image

It'll be a 5 or 6 depending on how advanced the wear is on the corners. You shouldn't get any qualifiers.

It's worth waiting for a $5 special to have it graded, but I wouldn't spend $10 or $13 to have it done. If you were grading it for the purpose of selling it, as a 6, you could probably get around $125, as a 5, it would probably go for around $75-80.

The bottom two corners look touched. Nice color and registration, though. I'd say a straight 6 on a good day, depending on the two top corners. It's well within the PSA parameters for centering for at least a 7, so no way should you get an OC qualifier on this card, though eye appeal is not that great in that sense for me, personally.

Centering is fine for me, too, but it does look miscut. I'm going to say 6MC.

There is no way the card gets an mc qualifier; maybe an o/c.
  • This card is a solid 6, NQ

6 no qualifier...not even close to being miscut.

  • 6 no way is it even close to mc.
