New Auto Dollar Auction Win ( Caution big photos)

I always liked these and won this one at Heritage for my collection. This is my 4th ( can there be too much of a good thing? )

Very nice!
Not that I suspect this coin in particular.

<< <i>Can someone out there teach us the diagnostics for real and/or fake Auto Dollars? >>
Two of the key diagnostics for fakes are the presence of unusually wide rims, often with a "mushy" look to the denticles; and/or significant underweight, frequently about 5g.
Another is variant calligraphy, which is hard to spot unless you are very familiar with Chinese characters.
Congrats on your Heritage win Bob!
Now if there was a book written on these it would be great. Anyone know if the ANS has published anything over the years?

I thought about collecting a Chinese silver type collection after finding some inexpensive Hupei and other ones, but the Auto Dollars in nice shape were out of my budget range.

I've started a mini hoard. It must be the addictive personality in me. I have also bought almost 50 specimens of a certain token ( in the hopes of putting rolls together, I guess ) which range from 10 dollar blown out worn down near slugs to gems and everything in between.
Who knows how long this is going to continue with the auto dollars. I'd prefer to do this with Vietnamese coins but haven't had much luck with those coming up for sale often enough.
