It's early, but if West Virginia goes undefeated.....

do they deserve to play for the National Championship? Before you answer, look closely at their schedule. They only play one ranked team, Louisville.

I say no way. If you are tired of these teams scheduling creampuffs, then don't reward them at the end of season.

    Thursday night in Louisville isn't easy, thats certainly the only blip on their radar, even though Rutgers could surprise. If they are the only
    team with no losses, then it would be hard to keep them out, but if it comes to a tie, we all know that a small market like that never
    gets picked. With 1 loss, do they even play in a January bowl? I guess if they win the Big Easy.

    Agreed. I can't figure out how we're smart enough to put a man on the moon, but too stupid to realize that losing by 4 to Texas or USC or whomever should be worth more than winning by 10 at Syracuse.

    they won't go undefeated. They will stumble SOMEWHERE down the line. Theres only a few teams who have a legit shot at going undefeated. Ohio State...Maybe Notre Dame and MAYBE USC...other then that I see many teams losing atleast one. Even the noles...But one should get you into the title game depending on how the chips fall.

    If they go undefeated, they will have to play at least one more ranked team. They would have to play a ranked team in whichever bowl game will have them.

    Those Bastiges won by a lousy call from apologizing referees last year against Louisville!! Hopefully it will be won by the better team this year!! image
