Greek Numismatic Museum

I am in Athens on business and a little sight seeing. I stopped to visit the GNM. It is in a terrific mansion and the collection was wonderful with nice displays, adequate lighting and an English language audio guide combining Numismatics with historyand geography. They have anothe 9000 coins not displayed but I believe they will open the second floor of the museum next year.
While a US Coin Collector, I had a great experience.
I thought that it was an example of what can be done at the Smithsonian and also the ANA museum should have audio description of the Bass and other collections.
Highly recommended

Trime, try the Benaki museum too (in Kolonaki) if you have the chance. And if you want, PM me, my office is a 5 minute walk from it.
