  • TOO thick? What? The rule is that it has to be at least 3/4 of an inch thick. Right?

The rule is: minimum 3/4" thick.

  • too thick or not thick enough?

Use the self-help center, if they have one.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • A #000 Bubble mailer is usually not thick enough to ship with DC with a single card in it. Simply place a packing peanut in the mailer and it will be thick enough to pass.

Your PO is wrong by saying it is too thick.

Yep, your P.O. is definately yanking your chain. It must be at least 3/4", no rule as to how large though. I am using D.C. for the flat rate priority boxes right now so there definately shouldnt be a problem.

Only time Ive ever had an issue was for it being under 3/4". I made my own cutout now to test my bubble mailers. For one graded card I wrap it a few times in newspaper before packing and it brings it over the 3/4", for ungraded I reinforce w/cardboard then wrap in newspaper, again that is enough to make the min. limit.

Go to U.S.P.S website, print out their requirements and take a copy with you next time you go. They may not like being shown the regulations, but then again, if they knew their policy they wouldnt have to be shown !

  • I brought up the same problm here months ago with the same problem. The guy at your Post Office got his information backwards. Guaranteed you take it to another post office and it'll go through no problem.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
