Sounds like the Beckett grading card forum. For vintage, they feel a Beckett grade is one or two grades better than PSA. Many times you will see a BVG 2 = PSA 3 discussion. I am absolutely amazed at the ignorance of the typical Beckett vintage buyer. Although, when I was 10, I also thought Beckett was the best.
I challenge people from this board to read their graded card forum. It is a new category in the message board area. If nothing else, you will get a laugh.
I have seen it many times where GAI grades tougher than PSA. I have sent in 3 GAI 8s to PSA to have them come back as 2 9s and a 10. Other cards have come back with the same grade and only one lower out of about 40 cards. So while it is possible it is unlikely.
From my few experiences with BVG, it was much tougher then PSA AND SGC...

Bri, i would like to see you back that up with solid evidence... Lets see some scans, and some before and afters!.... The truth of the matter is, GAI,PSA,SGC,BVG all do a decent job of grading. They have different followings for different reasons. They all will holder cards that each other find trimmed or altered, and there are always going to be descrepenices in gradings.
