A 1928 - P Peace Dollar just came in the mail today!

Sometimes scans do the job and sometimes they don`t. This doesn`t as it doesn`t show that this was more then well struck. It was a slammer. The outline of the face is like a cliff. Somebody was venting their frustration or something when they pressed this out. The right wing and legs have a well defined, layered 3-D effect.
The color isn`t touched up. Looks like one of those old-time buildings in industrial cities like Pittsburgh or Akron belching out coal and coke smoke from the smokestacks.
It`s a keeper!
