Yes, people are at Long Beach, but it really does seem sluggish. image

  • Well, there's a bunch of people who are not here anymore, or who do not frequent the place as much since say...a week ago?

Forum is getting back to normal. Those who only came due to losing their play place have started to move on.

The real problem is that Longacre has been away for work, has not kept up with his reading, and is not starting provocative threads.

Wish I could help, but I seem to have a talent for starting and killing the same thread with one post.

  • The form is slow because the speed of the forum is in direct proportion to the speed of the coin market.......
  • Because I haven't imaged my first cherry pick yet, and thus not worth talking about until then.

So true. I feel like a slacker. This damn day job keeps getting in the way of my posting. I'm not getting paid nearly as much for posting here as I had in the past.

"Why is this forum so slow?"

I think it is a bit unfair to refer to the forum as slow. Sure, many of them don't have a third grade education, and have you seen some of that spelling? But it is a bit insensitive to refer to them as 'slow'. Let's just say that they are a bit 'numismatically challenged'.

  • I realized that I never saw a single instance of PCGS bashing over there. Yet, it's the Coin Forum that remains.
