Is today Icon download day? I need help.

I cannot download my ICON because I have a mac computer and the function does not work for MACs. Possibly, maybe someone can help me and download my Icon for me. If anyone desires to help, let me know and I will email you my Icon so that you can send to the PSGS site for me. Thanks.

    I have an old Mac (1999). Download your icon to a hosting website such as http://www.photobucket.com/. You can then transfer the image from there to PCGS.

    Thanks Shamika----unfortunately once I get my icon onto the web hosting site there is still no way to get the image onto the PCGS site.

    Looks like it's not turned on yet. It's still pretty early on the West Coast.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    I have found out that when you have a Mac computer, the icon download button which magically appears on the 15th of the month for PC users(on the profile page), does not appear if the user has a MAC. I have been frustrated by this problem since I joined the boards!

    What is the OF?

    (Since I joined, the Icon download button on the profile page has never appeared the 15th of the month. If the button is there now, I would not know it. I have been told by other users that have MACS that this button does not appear for them either.

    Wow are they still going to "allow" icons? I'm surprised they don't HAVE to be coin forum related icons since there's so many OF icons in use

    I see in another thread that the icon download is on, but I have no button on my profile page. Any other mac users have any suggestions?

    Just to confirm, are you hitting the "profile" button at the top of the page or are you clicking on the eyeglass icon in your posts?

    Also, just below where it says Select the author icon you wish to use: on the profile page, it should say Upload your own author icon. I'm using a PC right now, but when I get home I'll check to see if this option is displayed on my Mac.

    Besides, Robertpr should be able to help you out. He's a good guy.

    Shamika--No it does not say "upload your own author icon anywhere" when I open up my profile page. Thanks for the help.


    Robertpr--Thanks for the offer--I will try to get my icon posted on this thread. I have never posted a photo yet but I will try.

    Well I'll be... TavernTreasures is correct. The option does not show on my Mac.
