Apparently NCS fills out the NGC submission just as we might. So one explanation is, if the coins values or types would generate different invoices, then they will show up as two orders (when this happened with my order, they did ship everything back in one box ).
<< <i>Well nuts... as of this morning, the coin that was "Scheduled for Grading" has now reverted back to "Received" and is no longer a clickable line item. According to NGC customer service, the coin has been sent back to NCS. I assume that means that the coin did not grade and it's being encapsulated at NCS.
That sucks. That one was the big dollar cahuna. >>
This has happened to me before. NCS thought the coin was gradable and then NGC sent it back and got encapsulated as cleaned! I wonder whether it was the NCS conservation or the older cleaning which got exposed after conservation, though I think it was the latter.
