Tell us WHAT is different about a 1921 Morgan

All I've been ever able to do is say "they look different", and they obviously do. But can anyone make a list of "markers" that make it different than 1904 and before?

There are slight differences in the obverse with the hair, headdress and easiest way to tell is to look at the rev.....the "s" mm is smaller, there is no "O" mm and it's the only year Morgan in the series that was minted in Denver.

Also, if you are into VAMS...you can tell just by die cracks on over 45% of them.

Because all the dies had been destroyed, 1921 Morgans were re-designed from scratch.

chin difference, hair difference, lettering on the reverse smaller. reverse eagle different.
