Just a thought............with all the devastated and empty neighborhoods, you think anyone is down there metal detecting?

I'd bet someone is...
Probably not a safe place to dig--
and a LOT of trash though...
And you KNOW you'd get hammered for digging any of the cemetaries..
Most probably have a deep layer of silt on them now...deep enough to seriously screw up signals...

the gulf coast over by Biloxi and Gulport/Waveland -that whole highway stretch would be a good place as well- spent some time there in the mid 80's

There are probably a few good things to be dug, but I'm sure most of your signals will be nails and other trash.

I would wait until they start digging around and moving dirt. hit those areas. I think most of the old old areas didn't flood.
