In Honor of Notlogical and Coinhusker's Generosity: YN Giveaway

Knowing that I am a USC fan, and with this weekend's upcoming USC/Nebraska football game this weekend, Notlogical and Coinhusker were kind enough to send me a Nebraska baseball hat. Feeling thankful, I figured a YN giveaway would be appropriate.

YNs 17 and under are eligible. ALL GUESSES MUST BE POSTED TO THIS THREAD BY 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m PDT. SATURDAY Here it is:

Guess:

1) winner and margin of victory;
2) final score
3) teams' ranks in the AP poll that comes out Monday.

Winner picks the winner and margin of victory in Saturday's USC/Nebraska football game;

If tied, the closest guess to the final score wins;

If tied, the closest to the teams' AP rankings that come out Monday wins.

ALL GUESSES MUST BE POSTED TO THIS THREAD BY 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m PDT. SATURDAY

I prefer to root for PAC-10, but it would be easier if the USC band would quit playing that infernal song for about 10 seconds.

It can be put to words though: "This is the only song we know,........"

I remember, in the 70s, going to the Rose Bowl and hearing the Ohio State band doing the same thing after each play. I hated it. I now hate it that the USC band does it.

Okay let me decipher this new math you kids use.

USC wins by 13.
The final score is 31-17... In the old way of doing math, it was Thirty-one minus seventeen equals fourteen.
The next equation is USC 3 and Nebraska 24.
That would be twenty-four minus three equals twenty-one

Would someone please explain the new math ? I'm CORNFUSED

I have talked this over with my nephew and he predicts an upset, Nebraska over USC 28-21. (Of course the reason is..... Cornhusker sounds cool!) Anyway thats our prediction.

I'm trusting that lucky penny I sent ot coach Callahan to work.

I pick Nebraska by 3 points. Score USC 24 Nebraska 27 The final rankings will be USC 8 Nebraska 11.

Since USC is very close to getting sanctioned by the NCAA I will go for the clean team Nebraska. Nebraska by a forfeit ultimately.
