Have you gotten any offers? I think the starting price might be a little high, maybe if you started it lower you might get some people active on it.

Depends a lot on what you want to get for it, but maybe list it again with a $50 or $75 starting bid?

  • I talked to some collectors of Autographed Bears stuff and they all recommended a starting price of $299. They seem to think that it is worth that at a minimum. They also stated I should have waited until November because that is the best time for this market but they did not say that until I already ebay'ed it.

I would not let it go for anything less than $300.00

Thanks for your comments though. I am not trying to dismiss your recommendations at all. I am just going with what I have heard from Bears Autograph collectors.

They're right about later in the season, especially the way your bears looked last sunday (against my packers)!

I just think the ebay strategy is to get people in at a lower price, and let them get in the spirit of competing. I've seen a lot of cards that start low get the bids and go high.

I agree the ball might be worth $300, I wasn't arguing the value - but I think you need to have bidders to get there and starting at $300 might price some of them out of your ball.

Bottom line is good luck selling it and I hope you get the right $$

I honestly think $299 is wishful thinking regardless of the month
