Trimmed Card?

I am a big fan of PSA, but I can't help but think a trimmed card made it into a holder here (here is the short one with a couple full sized):

I have been looking at 36 Goudey for a while now and am going to pick up a couple in the near future, I have never seen one that short L/R... does anyone know enough about this issue to know whats going on here?

thanks,

My general experienec is that PSA sometimes isn't as knowledgable about some of the less-popular issues like 1936 Goudey. Even if you admit that the card may somehow be factory-undersized, compared to the other examples you provided, the Derringer should have at least not been graded for "minimum size requirement"

Just my $0.02. But I get very suspicious of most pre-war cards that appear to be noticeably short and are high-grade.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

PSA should do the right thing and buy this card so it's off the market. It's in their best interest to do so.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • All 3 cards are obviously from the same seller on ebay. Ther 2 cards that appear full-size have cert numbers right next to each other, yet the short one is almost 100 away. This would seem to indicate that all 3 cards were from the same submission, but the person submitting these cards moved the trim one farther away from the other two so its shortness wouldn't be noticed as easily???
