    What's worse is I needed only 11 points from my second RB (Jordan), to win my first game in my head to head league and he rushed for 20 yards?
    Absolutely brutal, they suck hard.

    Every team in the NFL is going to get beat this year. The way the Raiders were manhandled was shocking.

    The Chargers established early on that they could and would put pressure on the QB. After the 2nd offensive series, anyone watching the game knew the Raiders would be in for a long night if they didn't adjust their pass protection.

    Why the coaching staff was unable to make changes to their pass protection schemes is stunning and speaks to the ineptitude of Art Shell and the offensive coordinator. Shell said at his post game press conference, the Chargers did not do anything the Raiders didn't expect. Shell said the Raiders game planned and expected the line to protect one on one against the Charger pass rushers.

    My question is, when you see your guys are UNABLE to protect one on one against Merriman and company, where were no adjustments made after the 3rd series? the 4th series? the 5th series? the 6th series? the 7th series?

    Shouldn't a bell have gone off in Art Shell's gigantic head that extra pass blockers were going to be needed as the Chargers sacked the Oakland QBs the 7th and 8th times?

    If your guys are being beat by a superior pass rush, how about leaving your tightend in to help pass protect instead of having him run 15 yard patterns that never develope because the QB is running for his life? Maybe bring in double tightends and have them max protect?

    I thought that idiot Norv Turner was the worst head coach in the league last year for not taking advantage of Randy Moss's talents, but he's looking like a genius compared to Shell and his Bed n' Breakfast OC.

    I'm not a Raiders fan. I just happen to have Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan in my fantasy league and was ripping my hair out because all I needed was just one touchdown to beat my opponent last night.

    Now they play the Ravens next week. Holy image!!!

    I have NEVER seen an offensive line play as bad as the Raiders line did. I would release everyone on that line and start from scratch, then I would teach Aaron Brooks the fundamentals of throwing the football away and not standing in the pocket like an idiot while the line collapses. Art Shell looked like he could care less.

    I was shocked at how easily Merriman manhandled Robert Gallery. I remember how I hoped Gallery would fall to #11 so the Steelers could draft him. He was a can't miss Orlando Pace type pick. Instead the Raiders took him at #2 and the Steelers wound up with Roethlisberger. Gallery isn't necessarily a bust yet but he has yet to establish himself in the NFL despite the fact this is his third season.

    I wish they sucked this bad against the Jets a few years ago.
