What does PSA do in this situation??

Hi all...have several old "0" cert cards that dont have the variation listed. If I send these in, would they be considered a "mechanical error" and would a new flip be put in at no charge?

Thanks to all for your help.

Thats what they told me on the phone. Call em.

    Edited to say...
I guess it also depends on if they recognize the variation or not. Call them to find out anyways.

I don't think they will if it's something they just recently started designating, like the Red and Black back '52 Topps.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

if they are cataloged variations which they recodnize in the pop reports and smr like white vs yellow letters or name vs. no name then I think they would . if it is a standard variation that is available across the all the cards in the set like 52 topps red and black backs or 56 topps white and grey backs then I don;t think so.

These are 60s variations that are listed separately in the pop report and SMR. When you add the cards to the registry sets they go against the wrong variation. Seems reasonable that they would replace them for free. Sounds like best bet is to give them a call and see. Will let everyone know what they say.
