But hey, the QB fits right in. Throws like a woman when he's under pressure. 30.5 rating, a friggin juggernaut. Can't get the ball over the D line.

    Lovin' it.

Cmon...wasnt that their second string that played today?? image

  • Heavily laden at backup QB.

Zeke Bratkowski, Steve Bartkowski or some sh!t.

Gruden the O guru - why then is the O always the problem?

    Enjoy the slide to mediocrity.
  • I think Jeff George is available!!!

Steve Young will come out of retirement and tell Chrissy to his face that he's a spoiled QBs rich kid.

I think I'd rather have Jeff Garcia than Chris Simms starting for my team. How can Gruden, a former offensive coordinater and "known" as an offensive minded coach, make such a bad selection for his starting quarterback? Simms is a classic backup quarterback - should not a starter.

I agree and I will add to it. For that matter Gruden should go back to being an offensive coordinator and the Yucs should get a real head coach. Gruden won the Bowl with Tony's D and a litttle offensive life injection that the team lacked. Yucs fans prepare for another 26 years of futility

There's an opening as a waterboy for Manchester United. The Glazers have promised to keep him in the business.

In case you doubt Gruden, check the hand for rings.

That should always be Tony D's ring in my opinion.

again....if you talk about Dungy..check the hand for rings

Gruden winning that Super Bowl is like Barry Switzer winning his Super Bowl. Both had basically nothing to do with it.

Better check Gruden's legs for tattoos while you're at it. You'll most likely find "BJ" and "BG", both crossed out. At the moment he's holed up in a bathroom cutting the "CS" out with a razor blade.

    History, history, history.

    What did they do today?

    They sucked on ice.

If you arn't a bucs fan, then you won't understand the Dungy thing, but why does it matter, Eagles are still ringless and only get the
super bowl every 25 years or so....see ya soon!

From my calculations doc, that goes for the Yucs as well!

  • While I'm no gruden fan, the reallity is that he won a superbowl with a team that could not get there before him and the team he beat was the team he had just left..

Either way, that's one hell of an accomplishment.

Is Simms going to get a tattoo of Ray Lewis's initials on his left buttocks?

I'm no Bucs fan and as much as I don't want to add flame to JS's fire, I'd take Gruden as a coach anyday over Tony D. Dungy is known for taking great teams and not getting the job done. Gruden brought the Trophy home.

"A league source tells us that players on the Baltimore Ravens defense heard Tampa quarterback Chris Simms "whimpering" on contact during Sunday's 27-0 shellacking of the Bucs by the Ravens. ...Who doesn't think that Ray Lewis didn't shout something like this at Simms on Sunday? "Hey, Chrissy -- I'm gonna tattoo my initials on your other leg. With my teeth."
