favorite NEWP arrival of the week...just for fun...all are invited to show theirs too :)

And KUDOS to the people at David Lawrence for their patience with me. When I placed the order for it I filled in my "new" address (I moved 2 years+ years ago, but apparently I hadn't bought anything from them in awhile

When I got my order confirmation email receipt it did show my new address. Plus, they gave me free shipping via first class mail which was terrific. After about two weeks I realized I hadn't gotten my package yet and I double checked my 'shipment sent' email which noted Priority Mail.
I got a little worried and sure enough, when I logged back on the system still had my FPO/AP address in Japan (hence the Priority Mail...still free I might add).
I called and emailed (and I'm sure one of my emails was cranky) and the package really did go to Japan! The very nice guy on the phone immediately reversed the charge once we figured out what happened, which was pretty bold, because theoretically it could have gotten forwarded to my new address.
Fortunately they got the return about an hour after I called (of course!) and I had the coin in about 2 days after that, and still by (free) priority mail.
Very nicely handled despite the anxious customer.
Oh, and the coin is really cool. Pretty darn red for a 'red-brown'.

I hope it was
This arrived Friday. It was in a current-generation NGC slab, but I had to crack it out for an acetone bath. It was covered with PVC
Looks much better now:

I forgot to take a "before" picture

My old dig camera gave up the ghost about six months ago. My next purchase will be a new camera rather than a coin. I really miss shooting pics and sharing them on the forum. I think it adds to the experience.
