my 3 kids picked up about 10lbs of those last nite at a local park

they want me to dry them out and drill them so they can take them to school and make necklaces and stuff.

So when they are "roasting on an open fire" as the old Christmas song goes it was just fuel for the fire. I thought they were roasting
them to eat but I guess not.

I posted this on another thread but applies here as well.....

the UT fans around here sure have some class. Dpoole being one of them. I called and left him a couple of friendly messages last nite during the game. He called me back after the game to congratulate.

He owned USC not OSU.... AND....if Ryan Hamby could catch a ball....we'd have won that game....The score was corrected this year....nobody beating the bucks this year..NOBODY.

If i remember correctly AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter had career games beating the pulp out of him...HE DID NOT torch us...he DID torch USC. AJ had at least 1 sack and int...we lost that game because the Texas D gave up FG'S not TD's....wide right 1 foot on a FG and dropped TD pass by hamby...ya ask me Texas escaped....OSU went down to texas and dominated the scoreboard never being down....shutting them out 2nd half.

I agree with Lothar.....you can't say anyone owns a team by beating them once by a field goal.......I'm an OSU fan but won't be going around saying that the buckeyes own Texas either.......hey it was only one game, now if you want to talk about owning someone....how many times has Tressel beaten Michigan.....getting close to one coach owning a team......for many years Bo owned the Buckeyes........also look at Notre Dame versus Navy.....that's another one where a team owns someone.........I'm sure other matchups will be mentioned in this thread but you can't say Texas or Ohio STate own each other........one game doesn't make an "owning".
