ID help please

my son Paul found this today at the same place i found the 1814 capped bust dime last year .
it has to be mid 1800 or older .
i think it is foreign .
it is the size of a quarter .
one side is smooth . we can't see any detail at all .
the other all we can make out for now is guessing . we are going to clean it a bit and see if we can see more .
take a look at the pix . the last pic will have a great drawing that i did of what we can see for now . the second pic will show the stuff on the edge .
any input would be help full
thanx vincent

This auction has a 5F pictured. The spacing between the bust and legend is different on the 1F piece. Issued 1803+04.
Attached is a bad picture of a 1F.
my son is 13 and loves to metal detect for old coins . his oldest to date is a 1853 dime
thank you
vincent
Looks like your son may well have a new "oldest find", vincent.
Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"
Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.

edited to add, when looking at them all at once, I'm not convinced the chin or the angle at the nape of the neck are quite right. The nose seems ever so slightly off too, but that could be from the blotches.
and thanx Stork for the comparison pix . i allso thought it was a bit off but that could be from wear . i will do some more searches for dates close to 1803 . i did some last night but it got late . will try again this morrning.
thank you all for the help . my son has me beat now .

<< <i>The shape of the head plus the fact that "BUNAP" seems to appear in the legend, to me, pretty much seals the deal that it's a Napoleaon Bonaparte silver coin. Was that found in the U.S? Great find despite the wear! >>
yes it was found under a floor that was removed in a 1853 building in california .
