Why is the 1994 Upper Deck Alex Rodriguez Auto RC not that popular?

I notice that this card doesn't sell for much in raw or graded form, compared to the SP rookies. The premium for a PSA 10 or BGS 9.5 is only $100-$150 or so. For a PSA 9 or BGS 9, it sells for less than raw book.
Also is there a difference in scarcity between the blue and black auto?
