Actually it looks frighteningly similar. From the 'P' font size matching the 'ITTSBURG' to the lack of a black frame around the photo. Could this be the card front that was used on the skinned T206?
I have a bunch of these cards. They were produced in the early 80s and and it was reprints of the most famous baseball cards. The Lajoie, Magie, Wagner, Goudey Ruth, etc.

I think $500,000 is a little high. The card is only worth $20,000 according to the back. Do you think we were born yesterday?
