Grading Voucher Question

I received a voucher for 2 free grades that is titled "marketing specials". Would that mean the monthly specials?

Yes, what ever the dollar amount for the special that you submitted under is what the value of the voucher is. I always seem to get a few back. Last $5 modern sub that I put in for I inculded 5 to redeem. However, I ended up getting 7 in return.

I am not sure if you could use a $5 voucher for the $6 tall boy special. You would have to call and find out how/if they could work with you on this. I thought that it had to be an even $:$ match.

  • Whatever you do don't mix vouchers. I had a single voucher for my club renewal and seven for the $5 special and was told I had to pay shipping on the single card. I said that it wasn't worth it to me to pay $11.70 for one card and to send it back. I was then told it would be $11.70 to return it. Needless to say I was upset about it and chose to sit on it for a couple days. Luckily PSA called back and said they would hold one until the others were done. I'm sure this is an oversight on my part and it says to not mix vouchers on their web page but I didn't see it. Glad to see that it was taken care of. I had started to get upset with the service I had been getting lately.

I've got a voucher for one ($8.00 regular, I think). Do I have to send that one in on one invoice or can I combine them to save on shipping?

This is my main gripe. I end up with so many expired vouchers because they are so finely separated. I mean what do I do with 1 voucher for a 1960-71 special, another for the 1972-modern voucher and one for a tallboy submission? Send in a $5 voucher and pay $12 for shipping. They should just allow you to combine them or at least waive the expiration date. In my opinion, they create more ill will by rejecting and expiring vouchers than they create by giving them out in the first place.
