CENTS
1901 Indian Head Cent ANACS MS63RB... $110
Unlike proofs, business strike Indian Cents are not often found with much color. This piece sparkles with an array of greens, purples, and more. This piece is housed in the new ANACS holder and appears to be choice for the grade.

1957 Lincoln Cent ICG PR66 Red... $7
A flashy coin with few marks, nice mirrors, and a pleasing red color. The reverse also features a very light cameo affect. An accurately graded piece in an Intercept Shield ICG holder.

1958-D Lincoln Cent ANACS MS66RB... $35
Red, orange, purple, blue, and green hues fill the field surrounding a bust of Lincoln in purple and green. On the reverse, purple and different shades of red and orange dance in harmony. Pleasing lustre livens the color as you rotate the coin under a light.

NICKELS
1883 Shield Nickel PCGS MS63... $255
A beautiful coin with uncommon color. The obverse shows hints of pink, while the reverse is fully toned in purple, orange, and yellow/green. The coin has nice lustre, and, as is typical for shield nickels, a fair number of die cracks. For a series that rarely shows color, this is certainly an unusual piece.

1912 Liberty Nickel NGC MS64*... $950
A most unusual and striking Liberty nickel! With uncommonly blazing lustre, reminiscent of an early S-mint dollar, this piece displays gorgeous pastels which fully cover both sides. Seen on the obverse are red/orange, blue, green, and yellow, and on the reverse light red/orange and blue. The surfaces are very clean, and the strike quite good--it is only a matter of time before this coin resides in a MS65 holder. I don't say that as hype, because I bought the coin as a beautiful 65 in a 64 holder, and that is how I'll sell it, as well. Liberty nickels are not known for color, nor for such strong lustre. This piece is an extraordinary exception to the rule.

1913 Type I Buffalo Nickel NGC MS64... $85
The obverse of this buffalo shows nice lustre and light, pastel colors. It is well struck, but shows evidence of a worn die, especially on the word "LIBERTY." The reverse has a patch of multicolored (predominantly orange, yellow, and green) on the hind 2/3 of the buffalo, as well as the periphery, while the rest of the side is darker and a bit duller. An interesting coin priced about $10 over recent Heritage prices for untoned examples.

DIMES
1950 Roosevelt Dime NGC MS63... $12
A lustrous album-toned piece with most colors of the rainbow visible around the periphery of the obverse. The coin looks very nice for a 63, and at this price, you know the submitted was disappointed when the coin came back.

SILVER DOLLARS
1880-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS65... $335
A beautiful gem with a 99% toned, semi-PL obverse. The obverse features a large amount of turquoise surrounded by purple and a mix of deep red and purple, all lit well by the lustre. The reverse is a flashy white with frosty devices and a nice, original skin.

1881-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS65... $950
An absolutely sumptuous beauty. Lying atop flashy obverse surfaces with a slightly PL look are all the colors of the rainbow. Liberty's face and neck are bright green, contrasted by the bright pink/red fields in front of her. Amidst the sea of pink, the stars are lime green. Above Liberty is a rainbow crescent that goes through the full color spectrum. There is also a small textile dot pattern below the BU of Pluribus. A dizzyingly colorful and vibrant coin. Oh, the reverse is white with light gold around the periphery.

1882-CC GSA Morgan Dollar MS63... $295
A nice dollar with an unusually toned reverse, which features mottled shades of yellow, orange, red, turquoise, blue, and purple. Nice lustre beneath the color complements the toning nicely, and the obverse is mostly white with frosty lustre and a sliver of gold toning on the lower right periphery. An attractive coin with toning different from your typical bag toning. The GSA dollar comes in a GSA case along with its box and COA.

1883-O Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64... $140
A flashy, white obverse gives way to a flashier, 100% toned reverse. Difficult to capture in a photograph, the toning on the reverse starts at light gold on the left, and moving towards the right, slowly progresses to light purple, then blue, green, and finally yellow. At certain angles, the eagle takes on a bold 3-D appearance due to a combination of its toning and some frost beneath it. Die striations more commonly seen on PL/DMPL examples are also noted on the reverse, indicating that the die was likely fresh, and explaining some of the extra flash the coin possesses.

1886 Morgan Dollar ANACS MS64... $115
I've always liked 1886 dollars for their lustrous, textured orange peel surfaces, and this coin doesn't disappoint. While mostly white, there is a small patch of orange and gold on the obverse of this piece, as well as a huge number of die cracks. The reverse is nearly fully toned, with cranberry, lime, and sky blue gently transitioning from one to the next. So I can have a clear conscience, I should mention that there is a fingerprint above the eagle's head--but good luck finding it. I hate using sunlight to look at coins, but when this piece came, it was the easiest light to access... and there was a faint print. I then looked at the coin under strong incandescent light, and the print vanished. So yes, there's a light print. And no, if you use a light bulb, you probably won't ever find it.

WORLD COINS
1873-1973 Royal Canadian Mounted Police Canadian Proof Dollar... $35
An unexciting, lightly peripherally toned obverse contrasts strongly with a gorgeous reverse which depicts an RCMP officer. The center of the reverse is flashy yellow, with a gorgeous, banded rainbow crescent on the left and multicolored, bright and dark confetti toning on the right. The colors are livened up by the mirrors beneath, and the coin is an impressive and pretty example. The piece resides within its issue leatherette box and cardboard sleeve.
