    The Open Forum is a good concept, but it had been taken over a few people that basically lived on there. Most of the posts were just drivel reflecting the boredom of the people. It developed into its own society and any newcomer just simply could not fit in. Talk about get-a-lifers, the Open Forum was the epitome of that. I don't really see this as a death to the Open Forum, but more like euthanasia.

    the open forum was a fun place with some cool folks.. and there was some quality threads.. you evidently didnt read it much.. if you just glance, yes, it may look like garbage (especially after today and all the nonsense posted after they announce it would be closed), but pretty much everybody that posted there had a good sense of humor except the politcal wackos..

    To fit in there one had to just "bull" his way in and not let anyone bring you down. Yes some on there would give you a hard time, but with a thick skin one could usually "fit in" after a while. I would say it was 50/50 on the OF of good and crap threads. What killed it??
