Been a long time since this thread has been visited. Any newish additions or goals anyone want to share? Recently picked up this one and couldn't be happier. I've been targeting different backs to add some variety.
I do not collect these and have not read this entire thread but there is an interesting new thread on Net 54 prewar about T 206 Topps buy backs. Thread is entitled "Ashamed". You can read threads there even if not member
I felt like it was important to kick this thread back into view at the top.
I started it way back in 2006.
I spent 2 different decades working on partials of this and find myself itching to revisit in some way and talk about it more.
I'll also put out there that I'm still on a budget after all these years and find myself search for decent PSA 1 or 1.5 examples at reasonable prices.
If you can help with that contact me but most of all I just want to se more dialogue about this iconic set.
The cards look great in the current PSA slab with the Back designation language now a standard feature on the flips.
Feel free to show more of your cards here too.

Welcome back! I am like you, I love this set but I’m on a budget. I also have other main focuses of my collection, so haven’t bought too many T206’s. I did collect a low grade team set of the Providence Grays, since I grew up in Rhode Island. Here is a link to my set:

That whole Topps buyback seems to be a huge mess. Glad I never got into those. Hopefully it can be straighten out for those who collected them.

Just ‘found’ this thread.
Is T206 collecting still alive and well in 2024? I’ve always loved these cards and their vibrant colors
