A little remembered Southside Hit Man...

This image cracks me up. I'm selling a print of it this week on eBay. I bought a collection of White Sox awhile back and this one struck me as so odd. Tell me THIS guy looks like a baseball player who hit 25 homers for ANYBODY at ANYTIME! He sells tickets now to concerts/sports/political events, etc. I believe his company is Eric Soderholm's Front Row Tickets or something of the like. He was awesome that summer, that's for sure.

Remember, I want any White Sox memorabilia relating to the "collared uniforms" of 1976-1982!

just about the time you think you've done the impossible (find an original slide of a posed Eric Soderholm with The White Sox), you get a PM requesting him with the Twinkies...you just can't win

DGF, I loved looking at your images that you have up gor auction. This one just seems to really get me though. Beautiful swing of Roberto Clemente....



I also loved the Pete Rose #39 hit streak and the Goose Gossage without the 'stache White Sox pic!

I'm looking for Koufax & Drysdale pics, but the Drysdale pic that you have is too similar to one that I already have put away. I'd like a closer up 'in action' picture, if possible.

Thanks for the kind words. The Clemente is gorgeous. The print quality is top-notch on that one. Crystal clear and rich in color. The Gossage with Chicago is hard to come by. I had to make a judgement call on cleaning up his teeth a little though. His teeth were so outrageously grotesque that I HAD to clean them up a little. The guy had a visible chunk of food as well as an abcessed chopper! Yuck!
