This is a warning to anyone who has recently dealt with this person. ALAN ZIMMERMAN Ebay id is filmalan . He bought $410 worth of cards from me on ebay and then filed a "fraudulent use" claim with Paypal. At first he was responding saying that he didn't file a claim and then just started ignoring me. I have heard from a couple other people that he has screwed around before. Anyway, my money and cards are gone, don't let this wiener get anyone else.
And another thing, NEVER EVER send anything of value to an uncomfirmed address and ALWAYS get a signature for items over $250. A tracking number is no longer sufficient for paypal. If the transaction is not eligible for seller protection, send it back. It is too easy for these thieves to exploit paypals loopholes. Jim

Sorry you got burned.
As far back as I can recall, PayPal has always required a siggy
for anything over $249.99.
If he is claiming that he did not receive the items, you can
file a USPS claim, if you bought the insurance. If there was
no insurance, you should go visit your local post master
and tell him what the guy pulled; if you are nice, and the
PM is bored, he might file a notice with the inspectors, who
could pay your customer a walk-and-talk visit when he comes
out of his house.
Never ship anything w/o insurance, that you cannot afford to
lose. Many buyers are crooks.

OK, now I think I get it.
The item went to an unconfirmed addy, and the guy says
it did not come to him, and that he did not buy the stuff.
I guess the insurance is obviated, if the item made it where
you sent it. But, it still seems like a good case for the Postal
Inspectors to look into.
Even though it may seem hopeless, I would still purse flimflaman
with the USPS and with eBay.
They really need to fill these loopholes. It makes me not want
to see new buyers come around.
I have a few folks who go south for the winter, and I ship to
their unconfd addys, but I would never do it for a stranger.
