Hey!
I am sure this is in the right spot. But we recently finished cleaning a room for our baby's room. We bought this house from an elderly lady and found this kinda neat coin. It is foreign... I assume from Japan. But I was curious as to it's value... or where I could find out if it has a value. When I say value... I mean as is it worth more than what Japan says it is or was worth... here are some images... any help would be apperciated.

Republic Year 43.
BTW - The presence of a human bust (even if it weren't Taiwan hero Chiang Kai-Shek) establishes that it is not Japanese. The only Japanese coin to ever have a bust on it was the ¥5,000 Osaka Expo commemorative of 1990, and that was an allegorical figure, not a person.
<< <i>alright hopped in value! >>
At that rate it would be worth half a million by Friday.
By the way aboard.
