Anyone have the TV footage of Bert Blyleven swearing on air?

I'm curious to know what he said that warranted a two-game suspension. All the newspaper reports that I've read don't reveal it.

    I watched the clip and of course you can hear him drop it twice. That said, lighten up a bit. The guy made a mistake and said something that gets said about 30,000 times a game at the Metrodome. All this uproar since Janet and Justin (yes, that sound in the background was me vomiting) pulled off the clothes at the super bowl.

    I agree not a big deal on the swearing, but that was pretty funny that they kept going.

    thats too funny! I understand the suspension but aside from being live on TV those choice words I use and hear every day. No big deal IMO.

    DaBig, good point on the kids. Obviously it does not do any good for a young kid to hear that but they would eventually soon anyway. Not saying that makes what Bert said OK but how many youngins are now scared for life after hearing that? image

    Kids need to learn about consequences at some point. I told my six year old Bert got suspended for using bad words. Seemed to make an impression but I guess I'll find out over the next couple of years when he learns the full range of profanity in grade school. image

    I let the 4 letter words fly around my house. I probably shouldn't but oh well. If the worst my kids do is swear when they get older, I can live with that. I'm more concerned with who their friends are and their school grades and stuff like that.

    As for the clip, great stuff. I can just imagine the blank stares and awkward silence that went on in that studio. Everyone was probably trying to play it off like nothing happened.

    I think that is hilarious! I also don't think it's any big deal. Either kids have heard it and know he was bad for saying it or they have never heard the word and it flew over their head.

    Don't get me wrong...the suspension was deserved. I just hope it wasnt too severe because there is MUCH worse on television that is allowed than the F word.
