Ebay help needed

Someone filed a non paying bidder against me 3 days ago, which I responded to about an hour and a half later---however, he has not responded to it.
Reading the fine print, it says that if the dispute is not resolved within seven days, I lose, in essence. Does this really mean that he can just file it, do nothing and win, or am I not understanding something?

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com

  • You responded, he can't unilaterally neg you, that was smart. If you ignored it for ten days you could have gotten neg'd and recieve a npb bidder strike. Why did this guy jump the gun with you?
  • I bought the item a while ago, sent payment on the 15th, and he apparently hasn't recieved it yet, but he hasn't responded to any of three messages I sent him so I really have no idea what's up.

  • He can still close it and you get a NPB strike against you. He can also leave you a neg that you will be able to return. You can get the strike removed, but you have to prove that he recieved the Payment if you cannot do so the strike sticks. Just as it is a sellers job to get the item to you, you are responsible for getting payment to the seller.
