Had some free time today (seems more and more rare lately). Decided to set up some of my collection on my wife's sewing table.

Thought the layout looked nice, so I took a couple shots.





Nowhere near all of it, but as much as I could fit on the space I had to work with

It seems your camera focused on the floor rather than the coins.

I've heard that the black spacer rings in your holders is bad JuJu...something about the material breaking down and transfering to the coins. I changed mine out to the white inserts because they aren't reactive to anything.

Yeah, I figured there was no way to focus on the coins enough to provide any sort of detail. It was just an overall shot of the layout. I have a decent camera, but it's not a high dollar job.

I have not heard anything about the airtite black rings. They are supposed to be completely innert. I will have to check into this a little more. The white rings do not have this problem?

The white ones, no. I think it was Jester that told me about the black rings...someone here at least.

I also remember someone posting about the black rings in the airtites turning the rims of their coins black, but from the responses it looked like it's quite rare.

yes! I have a very nice carpet, I am very proud of it.

those are some nice maple leaves you have there. I had a gold tenth at some point... I can't 'ford much gold or that fancier stuff.
